My friend, James, and I hiked the 11.25 mile section of the Lone Star Trail
between the Big Creek Scenic Area and Parking Lot 10. The trail passes
through the park at Double Lake. This fantastic hike took us into the green
depths of Sam Houston National Forest. The topo map above is the route we
hiked. The waypoints listed correspond to the map.
